What does Swiss National Day have to do with mental health on the Sunshine Coast, Qld? The answer is a great deal. We like to do things a little differently at Naradell because diversity is good for the brain! We had a wonderful time socialising, enjoying a swish Swiss Afternoon Tea and learning some amazing things about Switzerland, the birth country of our Vice-President, Jean-Claude Boulenaz.
Crazy Lunch Fundraiser held on Saturday 21st August 2021
at Suncare Family Centre, Buddina
This Crazy Lunch was a wonderful example of how we like to do things at Naradell - a little different and as much fun as possible.
The group may have been small but what fun they had! Our thanks go to Betty and her Team. This was a great idea and the waiters were superb as were those working hard in the kitchen.
Enjoying the Crazy Lunch ...
Thank you to the Crazy Waiters and the Team in the Crazy Kitchen
Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser
Naradell was booked to have a Sausage Sizzle on 25 May 2020. Unfortunately, this was cancelled due to Covid.
Our next allocation fell on Saturday 31 July 2021.
Sometimes you get lucky! Lockdown, due to coronavirus in Brisbane schools, came at 4.00 pm on that very same day so we did manage to actually get our Sausage Sizzle in and raised in excess of $1,000 profit.
A great thank you also goes to Sunshine Coast Antique Car Club for providing us with the opportunity on Sunday 28th February 2021 to raise funds to further our cause. Our teardrop flag was put to good use for this event. It was also an opportunity to utilise one of our marquees, this time protecting us from rain instead of sun! We again thank Sunshine Coast Council for these marquees which were initially purchased for our Walking Rally 2020.
