Round Table Conferences

Our quarterly round table conferences serve as a platform to bring together a diverse range of stakeholders and experts in mental health. Representatives from government agencies, healthcare organisations, community groups, advocacy organisations, and individuals with lived experience gather to address key issues facing our community.

The conferences are informed by the needs, wants, and problems identified during personal consultations and group support meetings. Through these grassroots insights, we ensure that the discussions and initiatives at our round table conferences are relevant, responsive, and reflective of the needs of individuals and families affected by mental illness.

These conferences are open to all stakeholders passionate about improving mental health outcomes in our community. Whether you're a mental health professional, researcher, policymaker, advocate, or individual with lived experience, we invite you to join us in shaping the future of mental health care and support in our region.

Discussion & Collaboration

Participants engage in meaningful discussions, exchange ideas, and collaborate on strategies to address the challenges facing our community. Through facilitated discussions, workshops, and brainstorming sessions, attendees explore innovative approaches, share best practices, and identify opportunities for collaboration and partnership.

Expert Advice & Solutions

Our round table conferences feature presentations and input from mental health professionals, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders. These experts offer valuable advice, guidance, and evidence-based solutions to the challenges faced by individuals caring for and living with mental illness. Attendees gain insights into effective interventions, support services, and policies that can improve mental health outcomes in our community.

Action Planning & Follow Up

At the conclusion of each conference, participants collaborate to develop action plans and initiatives to address priority issues identified during the discussions. We follow up on these action plans, track progress, and evaluate outcomes to ensure that our efforts translate into tangible improvements in mental health care and support services for our community.
