Form Your Team
You are invited to form a Team with a maximum of four people, although any individual is welcome to meet the challenge alone. You may like to have a Team of two or three which is fine.
Registration Fee is $20.00 per Team which is simply to cover some costs in holding this event. Each year, people across Queensland come together during QMHW through local events, conversations and activities to raise awareness of the importance of positive mental health and wellbeing and we feel our Walk, involving teamwork, fresh air, gentle exercise and some light mental stimulation in working out the clues as to the Walk, encompasses these aspects of QMHW. We finish with everyone gathering for a sausage sizzle which allows for social interaction.

Please Note: It is essential that you pre-register. We are unable to take registrations on the day of the Walk as Team numbers are limited and we need to know numbers in advance to cover Covid requirements and we also have considerable preparation to undertake for each Team.
After submitting your registration, your Team Leader will receive an email confirming acceptance. If you do not receive confirmation, please contact us by emailing email@example.com.
Location and Time of Walk
The Walk will commence and end at Naradell's Registration Marquee in Cotton Tree Park. This will be positioned approximately opposite Second Ave, looking out towards Cotton Tree Pier.
Please arrive at approximately 9.30am to check-in your Team and receive your Team Rally Bag.
We are extremely pleased to announce that Fiona Simpson MP - Member for Maroochydore will be in attendance at our official opening at 10.00am which will be conducted by Cr Joe Natoli.
We wish to thank the Sunshine Coast Council for the equipment for the Walk which was obtained last year due to a successful Major Grant Round submission.
The Fun Begins
This is a gentle walk approximately 2.2 kms in distance. It is not a race. Following the theme of Qld Mental Health Week, take time to ... ...
Each Team will be given a clipboard containing an instruction sheet with clues as to the route of the Walk. (Look out for our road crossing marshalls who will assist you along the way.)
The instruction sheet will also contain some questions to answer along the way - so keep your eyes open to spot the answers.
Team names will be drawn and will set off on a staggered start.
Upon your return please check-in at our Registration table. (You may receive a small treat for your hard work!)
Then head off to the bbq hut to take part in a sausage sizzle and mingle with your fellow participants as well as our wonderful volunteers. Our sincere thanks to Wellways for sponsoring the sausage sizzle.
It is expected that the Event will finish no later than 2.00pm.
